Tripura State divided district



  • State of Tripura was an independent state. In ancient times, the Maharaja ruled in Tripura. Tripura is situated on the border of Assam and Mizoram in India on three sides. Tripura was a royal state during British rule and was joining independent India in 1972.


  • Tripura was divided into districts but since January 21, 2012, a total of four new districts were divided into eight districts.
